What is the One Day Challenge?
The One Day Challenge is a community-wide “Day of Giving” in support of the Rising Futures Scholarship Fund — a fund that helps youth who have accessed services at the Sheldon Kennedy Centre of Excellence pursue post-secondary education.
This scholarship is more than financial support. It represents continued care beyond a young person’s time at the Centre — surrounding them with belief, stability, and encouragement as they move toward the future they deserve.
Why the Rising Futures Scholarship Matters
For many youth, graduating is only the beginning. Tuition, textbooks, housing, and daily living costs can quickly become overwhelming — especially without a strong support system.
