The nature and quality of occupational and organizational stressors faced by trauma-exposed professionals, and particularly those working in child centred roles are increasingly better understood.

This workshop will focus on discussion of the current status of understanding of the psychological risks faced by those working in these essential roles. The workshop will endeavor to equip participants with strategies and information for ways in which their psychological wellness can be safeguarded in their current occupations.

Material provided will be evidence-based and has been disseminated to thousands of frontline workers and trauma-exposed professionals across Canada, who have used these strategies successfully to manage their wellness and stress in their lives.
