The Voices: Victims of Crime Speaker Series

The Voices: Victims and Survivors of Crime

May is Sexual Violence Awareness Month in Alberta. To honour this month of recognition, the CACAC is proud to announce that we’re co-hosting and participating in The Voices: Victims and Survivors of Crime Speaker Series 2022!

This series will occur weekly in May, beginning May 4th. Each week  the CACAC, along with Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC), and Red Deer Victims Services (RD VSU), will be discussing the resources available to you in your area, as well as the impacts of assault and crime. This series is completely free, and aims to spread awareness of the many resources available to victims. Tune in weekly at 12:30 for different topics:

May 4th: Presentations from the CACAC, CASASC, and RD VSU

May 11th: Presentations from Rural Organizations

May 18th: The Victims Speak – Interviews with  Survivors Presented by CASASC and RD VSU

May 25th: The Voices Wrap-Up Conversation with Sadia and Dylan

Links to these live presentations will go up on the CACAC Facebook page. Follow us on Facebook, and join our newsletter to stay in the loop!  For more information on Red Deer Victims Services or CASASC, please see the links below.
